Functieomschrijving
As a Sales Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the (Global) Account Manager in developing their sales account, as well as handling various administrative processes. Within the role, you collaborate closely with other disciplines such as Customer Order Desk, Section Management, and/or Project Management to ensure the achievement of KPIs. Additionally, you are responsible (together with the Global Account Manager) for timely acquisition of new projects.
1: (Account Approach)
Support the Account Manager in keeping track of (global) Account Plan with the customer
This includes Long term sales plan vs 18-Months Rolling Forecast vs Actual Sales
Tooling and development fees income vs. plan
End-of-Production and End-of-Life Plans on time execution
Service parts sales vs expectation
Sample Orders Intake and
Clearing non-moving goods in Hub Stocks
Provide operational support to customer for processing work and actions.
2: (Account Development)
Contribute to secure future business by assisting the Account Manager in
Quoting on new projects.
Work with the Global Account Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager and the Quote Team to deliver specific parts of quotes, such as logistic cost calculations, tooling and cost breakdowns and
Offer documents and forms on time.
3: (Account Operation)
Pro-actively cooperate with the Account manager, related departments and management,
Ensure effective day-to-day operation for customers
Facilitate quarterly reviews with the Customer Ordering Desk, Program Managers, Supply Chain Management for the 15 years service part management, and monitoring End-of-Production, End-of-Life and demand change events.
Work together with the Account Managers, Program Managers, Customer Ordering Desk members, Customer Quality Engineers , Supply-Chain members to achieve meeting the customer needs, handling of engineering changes, sample ordering, and tooling and development fee payments.
Escalate critical items in-time and accurate to the Global Account Manager.
4: (Sales Management)
Monitor and take required actions to support info on customer demand, through Annual Business Plans and the 18-month Rolling Forecasts
Work with the Customer Ordering Desk to monitor the achievement rate against the Business Plan and communicate (with support of the Account Manager) corrective actions in case of deviations.

You possess commercial skills that can be applied in a business-to-business environment.
You are professional and assertive.
Oral and written communication – persuasive, clear, appropriate.
You’re proficient in English and German (Chinese is a plus).
Planning and decision making: analytical, decisive, aware of constraints/opportunities, lateral thinking.
